Bubba, owner of Bubba's Cooks Country

Paul (Bubba) and Mary Beth (Babe) Vinyard get a craving for the fried chicken and fixin’s they remember from their childhood, but there is none to be found near their home in Dallas.

1981

Original Bubba's location

The Vinyard’s bring their personal taste of traditional, southern comfort food to the area with the creation of Bubba’s Cooks Country Restaurant.

1993

Babe's Chicken House

The family opens Babe’s Chicken Dinner House in Roanoke. There are now 10 locations around the DFW Metroplex.

2006

Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes

The family loves a good steak, too! Sweetie Pie’s Ribeyes opens in Decatur.

2020

Inside Bubba's Cooks Country

Bubba’s continues to serve the SMU and Dallas area with great food in a happy environment.
